Georg Cornicelius lived from 1825 to 1898. Studied 1838-48 at the Zeichen-Akad. in Hanau with Theodor Pelissier and until 1851 at his private painting school, 1848 in Antwerp. 1851/52 working in Dresden. 1852/53 friendship in Paris Contacts except for Haussmann u.a. to Anselm Feuerbach, Wilhelm Lindenschmit and Viktor Müller. From 1853 studio and own painting school in Hanau, from the bek. Painters emerged, including his daughter Lulu C.
